Working from her garden studio in central Norfolk, Sarah creates ceramics that honour both the beauty of the natural world and the folklore woven through the local landscape. From whimsical Forest Folk figures to softly glowing lanterns and vibrant hares, every piece carries its own character and sense of place. Crafted with care, curiosity, and a deep love of the land, these ceramics invite you to pause, look closely, and feel connected to the world around you.
Meet Sarah Kick
With a web design and marketing background, her enthusiasm for creativity has always been present. Coupled with a passion for the arts, she followed her dream of creating ceramic pieces that reflect the organic beauty of her surroundings. Deeply moved by the natural world, she is inspired by the idea that the land, stone, and trees carry a deep geological memory, having quietly absorbed the touch and sounds of countless seasons and human voices. Her ceramics seek to honour these hidden histories, translating ancestral storytelling into organic forms that bring calmness to the soul.

Hanging Ceramic Hares
Now available at Studio Designs in Wells-next-the-Sea, my hanging ceramic hares are completely unique, hand-carved, and painted with added oxides to bring out every beautiful detail. Designed to capture the symbolic essence of spring and summer, each hare is individually given a medieval name to match the historic style of the carvings.
