Ceramic Lamb Human Sculpture Bust – Innocence of Spring

£100.00

This ceramic lamb human sculpture represents the coming of spring. The figure resembles a young girl combined with lamb ears and hair like the coat of a lamb. Her ears are deliberately not level to represent the uneven hair bunches of a young child.

It is named the Innocence of Spring as it symbolizes themes of renewal and innocence, perfectly evoking the freshness of the spring season.

Hand-built using stoneware clay and glazed in a combination of a light spring green and white glazes with oxides.

Measuring 24cm high to the top of her head, with a width of 20cm and a depth of 14cm.

She is a very textured piece with some glazed and some unglazed areas. This is intentional to add interest and depth and to increase the desire to want to explore the texture. Please check the detail photos to see the glazing layers and texture and in some places cracks in the glaze that form part of the design.

Due to the fragile detail, local collection is preferred or I may be able to deliver locally in Norfolk.
